At Quack Ups Duck Rescue and Sanctuary, our journey began unexpectedly when we discovered two ducks on the lake of our new home. This chance encounter inspired us to grow our flock, and soon we saved four ducks found along the roadside. Over time, our little family has expanded to 41 beautiful ducks—21 happily swimming on the lake and 20 residing comfortably inside the Quack Shack.

Caring for these wonderful creatures is a labor of love, but it also requires significant resources. Each week, we go through 50-pound bags of scratch feed and 30 pounds of puppy food to ensure our ducks receive the nourishment they need to thrive. Additionally, the upkeep of the Quack Shack and the ongoing care of our flock demands consistent attention and effort.
